Wendi Fowler became a Fellow in 2023, after joining the Ohio State Bar Association's Board of Governors, where she gained a deeper understanding of how the Foundation increases access to justice across Ohio.

"I wanted to contribute to that mission, even in a small way," she said. "The work of the OSBF in the access to justice space reaches people who often have nowhere else to turn."
Outside of the OSBF, Fowler is a wealth advisor. She made a shift into the career in 2008, as she sought balance between her professional and personal life. Still, she finds that she can draw on her legal training in a way that feels meaningful.
Over time, Fowler has developed a focus on estate and trust administration, which she finds incredibly rewarding. This work has shaped her both as a professional and as a person.
"I often meet people during one of the hardest moments of their lives, when someone they love has passed away," she said. "Being able to guide beneficiaries through each step, help them understand what comes next, and lift even a small part of the burden from their shoulders is a privilege I never take lightly."
Outside of work, Fowler cherishes time with her loved ones, from days spent with family and friends at the lake house to the antics of her miniature dachshund Coco around the home.
She often grounds herself with a piece of scripture, Micah 6:8, which calls her to love justice, show mercy, and to walk humbly with God.
"Those values guide how I try to show up in every part of my life," she said. "Supporting OSBF is one way I can honor that calling by helping expand justice and extend compassion within our community."
